Jeffrey Whetzel brings more than 25 years of experience in both senior leadership and management consulting roles. Jeff’s management and business development experience includes roles as Vice President of Business Development at Vallen Corporation, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Strategic Supply, Inc. and Regional Sales Manager for Barnes Distribution. Jeff’s management consulting experience includes roles as a Principal in a boutique consulting firm and as a member of Grant Thornton’s corporate advisory and restructuring practice. Clients served include BP, Ford Motor Company, and National Oilwell Varco.
Jeff has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Finance from Northern Illinois University.
Commercial customers, in particular institutional lenders, REITs and other commercial clients, are very “rank” sensitive. Our commercial clients expect to deal with decision-makers who are greater or equal in rank to themselves and view vice presidents as such. Promoting Jeff Whetzel to Vice President will increase his effectiveness with our commercial customers.
