Equipment Overview

Part of ramping up your business for eClosings involves getting the right equipment. To assist you in creating the best customer experience, we’ve done the research on the many options available and are pleased to provide our suggestions below. Each option works with hybrid, full and online eClosings.

  • Doc prep can be completed on any machine with a modern Web browser. (Touch-capable hardware is required only for the actual digital signatures.)
  • Most platforms will function with any touch-capable device that can run a modern browser.
  • Many platforms are also compatible with an inexpensive signature pad.
  • Direct network connections can minimize impact to the closing experience.
  • Large screens displaying personal information should be positioned to protect privacy.
  • Smaller devices create an intimate experience but can affect readability.
