AIM+ 6.6 Current Issues

ISSUE
SOLUTION
Reports of Transactions Codes missing in the Policies node

This release included an enhancement for Stewart Access files where the Transaction Codes now pull in from Stewart Access instead of the AIM+ Policy Setup area. Please Note: This only affects Stewart Access files. Stewart Access users may now see more codes than was previous listed on this screen. The prior-listed codes will still be listed and available.

Workaround:

If you do not see the codes you need, please see the list of codes under Transaction Codes by State on the Stewart Access Training Center. If the codes are listed there but are not listed in the Policies screen in AIM+, please contact Customer Care.
Covered Party field is grayed out on Policies screen

This new drop-down was added to select the actual covered party for Binder/Guarantee policies in the Policies node. This field should become enabled when a Binder or Guaranteed policy prefix is selected. However, if the Form Name is selected before the Policy Prefix, this field will remain grayed out.

Workaround:

To enable this field, select the Policy Prefix before selecting the Form Name. This issue will be resolved in a future release.

Covered Party field is enabled, however there is no valid choice for covered party in the drop down

Currently, the only choices for Covered Party are Buyer, Seller, or Lender. However, some sites have an attorney ordering the guarantee and there is no buyer, seller or lender on the file. This situation is beng evaluated for permanent solution for future system enhancements.

Workaround:

In the meantime, please add a buyer or seller with the first and last name of xxxx xxxx, additionally, please add an address for the party. You can delete the party after issuing the guarantee.
