AIM+ Known Issues

We're working to resolve issues that may come up when using AIM+. In the meantime, please use the following workarounds to fix these problems.

AIM+ 6.3 Current Issues

ISSUE
SOLUTION
Accessing Lender Connect via StewartWorkPlace/TitleWorkPlace and Google Chrome

Google Chrome was updated and as a result, you may experience some slowness when running some Lender Connect features. As a resolution, it is recommended that you clear your cached images and files from your web browser to improve performance.

Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved.

ISSUESOLUTION
Missing Payee NamesSome users have reported issues where Payee names are either missing from the Fee line or Disbursement Worksheet.

Workaround:
Return to where the Payee name was originally added, remove the Payee name using the X and then reenter the Payee name and save. This will retain the Payee name.
Printing/Publishing Closing DisclosuresWorkaround:
Remove the default selection of the School Property Tax Show Line within Closing Setup for your current template.

The following issues have been resolved.

ISSUESOLUTION
The Recording Service Fee displays as Other on printed Closing DisclosuresIn Closing, on Closing Disclosures, select Other and type the name of the fee.

Workaround:
In Closing, select a Closing Disclosure template. From the Section B drop-down, select Other. The fee detail screen displays. From the fee detail screen, type Recording Service Fee. Click Save & Exit.

Please note: This known issue affects only the Closing Disclosure.

The following issues have been resolved.

ISSUESOLUTION
Transfer tax isn't auto calculating if the remitter in Closing Setup is other than "none".

In Closing Setup, if the remitter/payee defaulted to anything other than "none" in Section E. Taxes and Other Government Fees, AIM+ will no longer auto calculate the SDT and MRT.

Workaround:
In Closing Setup, set the default payee to "none" for all deeds/mortgage tax stamp lines.

Please note: This known issue affects all settlement statements.

In the Title Insurance line on the Closing Disclosure, in the Total Title Premium section, the underwriter is not defaulting in.Currently, when the Underwriter is selected in Closing Setup on the Closing Disclosure template, the Underwriter is not defaulting into the Total Title Premium section of the Closing Disclosure.

Workaround:
In Closing, on the Title Insurance line of the Closing Disclosure, under the Total Title Premium section, use the drop-down to manually select the Underwriter.
On the Closing Disclosure, on the Recording Fee for Deed / Mortgage, the Deed and Mortgage recording fee type lines are not automatically being filled in.

When the Deed/Mortgage Recording Fee lines have a payee other than "none" in Closing Setup, the lines do not auto populate to the closing disclosure.

Workaround:
In Closing Setup, for the Deed/Mortgage Recording Fee lines, select the default payee to "none".

The Appraisal Fee line, Section B. Did Not Shop For - Loan Charges, is not appearing on the ALTA Settlement Statements, but is appearing on the Closing Disclosures.Currently, the Appraisal Fee line in Section B. Did Not Shop For – Loan Charges is not displaying on ALTA Settlement Statements, but is displaying on Closing Disclosures. This known issue displays different totals at the bottom of the settlement statements, which do not match the Closing Disclosure.

Workaround:
In Closing, under Section B. Did Not Shop For – Loan Charges, select and open "Other Fee". Manually enter the Closing Disclosure Description of this fee to read "Appraisal Fee".
