Howarth to serve as president of Orange County division of Stewart Title of California; Shuler transitions to senior vice president of residential sales

SAN DIEGO (Nov. 8, 2007) – Ron Howarth has been promoted to division president for the Orange County division of Stewart Title of California.

The 20-year title insurance veteran most recently directed sales and marketing for the commercial, builder and industrial markets in Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego Counties, and also provided guidance for sales efforts in those market segments statewide.

Previously, Howarth had served as president of Stewart Title of California’s major accounts division.

”Orange County is a complex and important market for title, escrow and closing services, demanding the type of leadership and insight that Ron brings to his new role,” said Brian Hurley, president of Stewart Title of California. “Ron’s creativity, his embrace of new technologies and services, and his identification of unique market opportunities all position our Orange County division for success under his guidance.”

Howarth’s career includes experience in commercial, industrial and builder segments in the real estate and title industry. He has a bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and is a licensed California real estate agent.

Concurrent with this appointment, Gregg Shuler will assume the role of senior vice president of residential sales for the Orange County division.

”Gregg’s great sales and sales-management skills will now be focused on growing Stewart’s market share for resale and refinance transactions throughout Orange County,” said Hurley. “Under Ron and Gregg’s combined leadership, the division will merge all of its title, sales and administrative operations into our Irvine location by year-end.”
