Sean P. Harley Promoted to Vice President and Mid-East Division Manager for Stewart Title Guaranty Company
HOUSTON (May 15, 2008) – Sean Harley promoted by Stewart Title Guaranty Company (STGC) to vice president and Mid East division manager. Stewart Title Guaranty Company is Stewart Title Company’s primary underwriter.
In his new role, Harley will continue to oversee the ongoing operations of the company in Ohio, as well as add to his management duties the operations of Kentucky and Indiana. “Sean has done an outstanding job establishing Stewart as a market leader, and he leads a very strong team of managers and associates in Ohio,” said Tom Sagehorn, executive vice president and region manager of Stewart Title Guaranty Company. “With the addition of Kentucky and Indiana to his area of responsibility, Harley will extend his transformation of our companies through use of industry-leading technology, agency support systems and high performance teams."
Prior to his new role with STGC, Harley was vice president and regional counsel, and he has been a part of STGC since August 1996. Harley also held positions as vice president of the Regional counsel of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky for a national underwriter. He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations, as well as the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA). Harley is a former trustee of the OLTA and past chairperson of the OLTA Education Committee.
Harley studied law and graduated from the University of Toledo.
