Coastal North Town Center, an approximately 350,000-square-foot lifestyle shopping center, is scheduled to open in September of 2014 and will help set a new standard for shopping in the area.

The project is a portion of a larger project – the redevelopment of a 100-acre golf course in North Myrtle Beach. Initial planning began in 2006, but was put on hold due to the 2008 U.S. recession. Today, redevelopment is back in motion, with approximately 40 acres allocated for Coastal North Town Center.

A variety of stores will anchor the center, including Dick’s Sporting Goods®, Hobby Lobby®, PetSmart®, Publix®, Rack Room®, Ross Dress for Less®, T.J. Maxx®, ULTA® and Versona®. In addition, there will be four interior retail buildings that border the main drive aisle and six outparcels. The development plan features the lifestyle center element of wide sidewalks serving to connect all of the buildings to the parking areas and the outparcels. There will also be plenty of landscaping, ornamental streetlights and superb architectural design.

In addition to shopping, Coastal North Town Center is expected to have 10 restaurants, which will include Bojangles’® Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits, Chipotle Mexican Grill®, McAlister’s Deli® and Which Wich®.

With excellent visibility and direct access onto Highway 17, Coastal North Town Center will be an ideal place for patrons to conveniently shop and dine in North Myrtle Beach for many generations to come.
