Portland General Electric (PGE), headquartered in Portland, Oregon, completed construction of its Tucannon River Wind Farm in late 2014. The second of PGE’s large-scale wind projects, it is located on approximately 20,000 acres of farm and range land outside Dayton, Washington, in the
Pacific Northwest.

PGE has installed 116 Siemens® turbines on the site, which together have a total installed capacity of 267 MW. Tucannon River Wind Farm is expected to produce an average of 101 MW – enough to supply about 84,000 area homes. It is also a key infrastructure investment, which will supply PGE residential customers with clean energy, generated by qualified renewable resources, for decades into the future.
