Accountability Ratings

Our summary of the 2017 accountability ratings is designed to help our community quickly find and compare ratings for local area public school districts.

Click on the district names below to expand the information for each district. The pdf links will reveal a complete break down of the ratings for that district and all campuses within. The ratings for each district and campus names listed below link  directly to TEA's accountability summaries.

About the Indices (Performance Index Overview pdf)
Index 1: Student Achievement
Index 2: Student Progress
Index 3: Closing Performance Gaps
Index 4: Post-secondary Readiness

To receive a "Met Standard" rating, districts and campuses must meet targets on three indices: Index 1 or Index 2 and Index 3 and Index 4. A small-numbers analysis is used when the accountability results do not meet the current-year minimum-size requirements for a performance index. A district or campus with fewer than 10 total tests across all subjects will not be rated for Index 1.

Example of Our Ratings
The sample below illustrates a district rating of "Met Standard" that did not have a passing score for Index 2.

Accountability Rating Index 1 Index 2 Index 3 Index 4

= met standard for that district and/or index score was met
= improvement required for that district and/or index not met
