Lawrence C. (Larry) Bell, Esq. is Vice President, Senior Underwriter, and Regional Underwriting Counsel, Northeast/Mid-Atlantic and New England Districts for Stewart Title Guaranty Company, with supervisory responsibility for Stewart Title’s underwriters in those Regions. Larry has over 30 years of residential and commercial transactional experience and has been working in the title industry for the past 19 years. He is the Director of the Stewart Title Continuing Education School based in New Jersey, a licensed Continuing Education Provider in that state, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. In addition to presenting topical seminars for CE and CLE credits, Larry has been a guest speaker for ALTA, the NJSBA and the NAILTA. He is a past President of the New Jersey Land Title Association, is a delegate to the NJLTA Board of Governors and the New Jersey Land Title Rating Bureau, and is a contributing editor of the NJLTA’s statewide publication, The Advocate.
Larry is a graduate of Syracuse University and New York Law School. He is admitted to practice before the New Jersey and New York Bars, the United States District Courts for the Districts of New Jersey, Eastern New York and Southern New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.
