CE & CLE FAQs

1. When can I expect to receive my CE Certificate or CLE Credit?

Answer: Within 10 days: The TDI and the State Bar allow 10 business days to process certificate requests from the date we receive it. Only inquire the status of your certificate after the 10 processing period has expired.

2. Why can’t I submit a group request?

Answer: It is much quicker to process requests individually, thus aiding us in meeting the 10-day goal.

3. Why can’t I submit multiple certificate requests in one e-mail?

Answer: To maintain an accurate database it only allows for one topic per e-mail.

4. Where do I e-mail CE certificate or State Bar credit requests?

5. What information do I need to submit to receive a CE Certificate?

Answer: The Subject of the e-mail should have the title of the webinar.

Within the e-mail the following is needed:

Participant Name as it appears on your Escrow Officer License;
PASSWORD given at the end of the webinar;
License Number Only (located on left side of Escrow Officer Certificate of License
e.g: License Number: 1234567-890123)

6. Where can I find my TDI License Number?

Answer: The TDI License number is found on your Escrow Officer License. It is a 13-digit number found on the left hand side. Please do NOT submit your Individual License Number, Firm ID# or STG# - they are not necessary.

7. What information do I need to submit to receive CLE Credit?

Answer: The Subject of the e-mail should have the title of the webinar.

Within the e-mail the following is needed:

Participant Name as it appears on your Escrow Officer License;
PASSWORD given at the end of the webinar;
License Number Only (located on left side of Escrow Officer Certificate of License
e.g: License Number: 1234567-890123)
State Bar Number

You must also include how you are affiliated with Stewart.

(e.g. Employed by Stewart Title Guaranty Company, an affiliate or a Stewart agent)

8. How many CE and Ethics credits are required at the time of renewal?

Answer: Please see P-28 and Chapter 2652, Ins. Code for Agents and Escrow Officers.

9. What should I do if the audio cuts off before I am able to hear the password?

Answer: All podcasts must be listened to using only Google Chrome or Firefox. The entirety of the podcast will not download completely with other browsers. Please verify you’re using the correct browser and the full podcast time has been downloaded.

We are not able to issue certificates to any requests missing the correct password.

10. Can I send a copy of my Escrow Officer License to provide some of the required information, or can I attach a document including all the webinars I listened to?

Answer: No. The required information must be typed in the e-mail request. Each webinar requires an individual e-mail request for the certificate to be processed. Any requests with attachments will be returned.

11. What if my processed certificate contains wrong information?

Answer: The TDI allows us to create only one (1) certificate per person, per webinar. If any information provided on your certificate is incorrect, print your certificate and make any necessary corrections by hand.  

All corrections due to the error of the requester are not the responsibility of the processor to correct.

12. What if I am licensed with multiple Title Agents?

Answer: The field for the TDI number will intentionally be left blank. We are only allowed to issue one (1) certificate per person, per webinar. TDI allows participants to print out multiple certificates in order to fill in the appropriate license number/employer for renewals.

13. Why is “Employer Information” left blank?

Answer: The TDI requested a place for agents to fill in their respective employer information, but it is the responsibility of the participant to fill in that information.
