Patrick Shields Senior Vice President, Underwriting Counsel, Manager

Patrick Shields joined the Stewart team in 2000 and opened the Stewart National Title Services (NTS) Philadelphia office, where he served as Vice President, Manager and Underwriter. In November 2003, Shields was appointed as Manager of the NTS Houston, Texas commercial operations.

Prior to his tenure with Stewart, Shields worked for Chicago Title Insurance Company in Wilmington, Delaware as both a Manager and as Counsel. He then started Chicago Title’s Canadian operations in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Shields received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from Wilmington College. He is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
