Loretta began her career in the title industry in 1977. Between the years of 1977-1989, Loretta worked her way from File Clerk to Plant Manager to Commercial Title Officer.
In 1989 Loretta was promoted to Advisory Title Officer (ATO), Stewart Title San Diego Division, in addition to managing a profitable commercial title unit.
In 1995 Loretta was employed by Stewart Title Guaranty as Claims Representative for Southern California. She managed both policy claims and escrow claims until 2000.
Loretta was asked to become Vice President, Operations Manager for the San Diego Division in August of 2000.
In 2004, Loretta orchestrated the construction and design of a build-to-suit stand-alone facility for the San Diego Division of Stewart Title of California, Inc. The office is only one of two title companies that occupy a single tenant building in San Diego county.
In 2004 Loretta was featured in both Executive Real Estate and San Diego Magazine profiled as one of San Diego's up-and-coming executives. Loretta is currently a member of the Women Council of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), and the National Association of Hispanic REALTORS® (NAHR). She also volunteers for the San Diego Center for the Blind and supports the San Diego Natural History Museum as well as the San Diego State Athletic Foundation.
Loretta and her husband, Steve, live in Clairemont with their three boys, Shawn, age 20; Kyle, age 19 and Michael, age 14.
