AIM for Windows invoicing reduces keying and saves time

HOUSTON – (May 13, 2003) Landata Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC) announces the release of AIM® for Windows® Invoicing. 

AIM for Windows Invoicing lets users pull existing AIM for Windows data into a customer invoice. Southern Land Title in Bay Minette, Ala. uses it to handle bookkeeping reports; billing for title commitments and policies; and miscellaneous billing for copies and faxes not tied to a file.  After experiencing previous productivity setbacks from manually creating and tracking invoices, the office became a beta site for AIM for Windows Invoicing in February 2003.

"We invoice for everything that we do, and this solution has allowed us to cut down on keying and manually tracking invoices on all of our files,” said Suzanne Cale, vice president of Southern Land Title and branch manager of the title plant. “It is useful for us to track all of our files and premiums – particularly the ones that aren’t closings – so we can perform past-due reports and check on miscellaneous billings."

AIM for Windows Invoicing displays on a user's toolbar while using the program's file cabinet. Users are able to pick who they want to bill by using their customer list from AIM for Windows or manually keying the information.
