Michael Harris, President, Stewart Asset Recovery
Michael Harris is President of Stewart Asset Recovery (STAR). He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of STAR, including business development, product and service enhancements, vendor network, client and agency guideline compliance, staffing and training, budgeting, and executive reporting.
Mr. Harris has a diversified marketing and management background including the financing, mortgage servicing, and government industries. Prior to joining Stewart, Mr. Harris was Vice President of Operations First American REO where oversaw all operational responsibilities for the company and prior to that he managed the Western regional office of Fidelity National Asset Management Solutions. He also previously held the position of Director of REO at Option One Mortgage. As the Regional Operating Director for First Preston Management, he was involved with the pilot marketing outsource for the HUD.
Mr. Harris began his career with the REO division of NRT, Inc. where he managed assets for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, among others.
