HOUSTON (June 10, 2004) - Stewart Title Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC), has sold an interest in its office in Victoria, Texas, to longtime Realtor® Dennis Patillo.
Patillo, who has been active in the real estate brokerage industry in Houston for more than 30 years, was elected president of Stewart Title of Victoria Inc. The office has been active in the Victoria real estate market since 1965 and has a staff of 11 title professionals.
"Stewart Title has such a great tradition in Texas for service, and I am committed to providing that level of magnificent service to our customers: the real estate agents, buyers and sellers, brokers, developers, builders, lenders and attorneys who work in the Victoria area," said Patillo.

Patillo served as 1994 president of the Houston Association of Realtors® and recently won honors as its Realtor® of the Year. He currently serves as secretary-treasurer of the Texas Association of Realtors® (TAR), and is the longest-serving member of the TAR legislative management team. Patillo will become chairman-elect of the group - which has a statewide membership of 67,000 real estate professionals - in fall 2004 and chairman in 2005.
