HOUSTON (Nov. 24, 2003) - Nearly 5,300 real estate professionals learned about tools to help them provide better service to their clients and customers in Technology Learning Center (TLC) classes held at the recent 2003 National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
More than 20 course topics were presented in the 75 hands-on classes, with favorites including Microsoft® Windows® XP file management, Outlook® contact management, FrontPage® Web site creation software, PowerPoint® presentation software and digital camera usage. Other popular classes featured Blackberry® and Palm™-based handheld devices, Tablet PCs, VirtualTours and Top Producer®.
Overall course satisfaction ratings by attendees were rated 4.7 on a scale of 5.0.

Sales Associate Steve Marx said the courses are "a great resource for educating Realtors® on leading edge technology use [for] the profession." Marx is with Dilbeck, Realtors®, GMAC Real Estate in Burbank, Calif.
More than 70 Stewart staff and 19 vendor partners worked together at the NAR Conference, handling instruction, proctoring and coordinating the technology classses, in addition to staffing the Stewart booth at the Expo.
