HOUSTON (Nov. 20, 2002) - Stewart Title Guaranty Co. (STGC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC), has appointed Sam Liberto as vice president and Tennessee Division Manager. Liberto previously served as West Tennessee district manager.

Liberto brings more than 27 years experience in the title industry, having served for 22 years as president of Stewart Title of Memphis. He is well-known in the local real estate industry, having chaired associate councils for both the Memphis Area Association of Realtors and the Homebuilders Association of Memphis. Liberto was the first non-mortgage broker to serve as a director for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Memphis and has served as a director for the Women's Council of Realtors.
