HOUSTON, (Oct. 18, 2005) - Commercial real estate professionals as well as municipal economic development agencies will benefit from Stewart re-source (http://www.stewartsource.com), a new Web-based site analysis tool offered by Stewart Geo Technologies.

Stewart Geo Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC).

Stewart re-source functionality includes map-based searches; access to reports including demographics and flood certifications, aerial images and property outlines; access to dynamic maps including flood, earthquake, hazardous material and demographic; and matching commercial property to an aerial photograph with the property data.

"Stewart re-source enables real estate professionals such as developers, lenders, brokers, insurers and investors to search for properties and generate dynamic reports as part of their due diligence process," said Kas Ebrahim, president and chief executive officer, Stewart Geo Technologies. "All the necessary resources are in one place, and with the Web-based application, data can be accessed from any computer with Internet connectivity. It also can be branded and integrated with the user's own data."

Stewart re-source can be used by commercial real estate professionals as a sales and marketing tool to increase their client base. Insurers and lenders can use Stewart re-source in their underwriting process as a verification and decision support tool.

Designed to match commercial property acquisition or development process workflow, Stewart re-source property reports start at only $9.95 or are available on a subscription basis. Stewart re-source is easily customizable to better meet client-specific needs.

"We believe Web-based accessibility of this product, which provides for licensing the application, enables small-to-medium-sized municipalities to offer the same easy access to property information and associated market data as the large government entities offer with custom-built systems," added Ebrahim. "Commercial real estate professionals will then be able to search for properties from a city's Web site, obtain pertinent information and focus their due diligence efforts on those properties that meet their needs. This will help municipalities of every size compete for that business. It's a win-win for convenience, value and productivity."

Economic development agencies can contact Stewart Geo Technologies through the Web site at http://www.stewartsource.com to learn how to showcase their development and redevelopment zones via a public/private partnership opportunity.
