Stewart Title Ltd. Appoints Ciaran Westland as General Manager of its Australian Operations

LONDON (Feb. 14, 2012) - Stewart Title Ltd. the underwriter for UK, European and Australian transactions for Stewart Information Services Corp (NYSE-STC), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ciaran Westland to general manager of its Australian operations.

In this role, Mr. Westland is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and overseeing the company’s Australian business and regulatory functions. He will be in charge of continuing to improve Stewart Title’s growth in this important market and ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic business objectives.

Mr. Westland joins Stewart Title with more than 14 years of combined operational and senior management experience. He most recently was the chief executive officer of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers, Western Australia division and was a member of the Property Industry Advisory Committee for the Western Australian government’s Department of Commerce.
