HOUSTON (June 18, 2007) – Charles E. Epperson, eMortgage Services Product Manager for Stewart Transaction Solutions, has been named to the board of directors for the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA).
PRIA represents business and government members of the property records industry with the goal of facilitating recordation and access to public property records. The association furthers the creation and implementation of national standards, systems and procedures for the industry.
In his position with Stewart, Epperson works to research, develop and implement electronic mortgage transactions and e-closings utilizing enforceable electronic documents, digital signatures, electronic storage and delivery for all real estate transaction participants.
Epperson holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has more than 13 years of information systems and information technology management experience, including experience in electronic commerce technologies and implementation. Epperson has co-authored many real estate industry national data standards for groups such as MISMO and PRIA.
