and secondary market. SMI's assignment professionals meet critical
deadlines enabling customers to consummate portfolio transfers

a recordable assignment.
- Assignments are prepared using SMI's National County Database
which is updated daily to maintain current information relating
to applicable fees for each document, average recording timeframe
per jurisdiction, notary and signature requirements and margin
and form requirements.
- SMI will sign and notarize the assignment (via corporate
resolution) using hand signatures and affix the corporate seal
as required by various jurisdictions. As assignments are signed,
SMI mails the documents for recordation.
- Assignments are barcoded and scanned for tracking prior
to mailing to the counties noting the date, check number and
check amount.
