Karen Vaughn – Middle TN Agency Services Manager
In 1991, Karen joined Stewart as a temporary employee, keying policy information into the prior policy database. 20 years later, her strong work ethic and aptitude for leadership awarded her the role of Agency Services Manager.
Other Stewart positions she has held include Tennessee Office Quality Coordinator, Tennessee Office Manager and an appointment to Stewart’s Diversity Council.
As Agency Services manager, Karen is an expert on state guidelines and requirements as well as real estate closings, sales and technology training. She works closely with the continuing legal educator on approving legal courses for Tennessee agents. Karen also specializes in planning division, state and local events. She’s known as the go-to person for the annual Stewart Title Insurance Professionals (TIPS) seminars.
She is a member of the Tennessee Land Title Association, currently serving on the membership and annual convention committees.
Karen is the recipient of the Magnificent Moment award for going beyond the call of duty to assist a potential agent with an agency application. She attended Tennessee State University and has completed various training programs at Stewart, including the Quality Training Program.
In between cheering at her son’s football and basketball games, she enjoys reading and watching CSI episodes. She lives in Nashville, Tenn., with her son, Ashton, and visits with her grown daughter, Ansley, on the weekends.
