Equipment Overview

Part of ramping up your business for eClosings involves getting the right equipment. To assist you in creating the best customer experience, we’ve done the research on the many options available and are pleased to provide our suggestions below. Each option works with hybrid, full and online eClosings.

  • The type of closing and the closing platform may drive certain hardware requirements (eClosingvs. RON)
  • Document prep can be completed on any machine with a modern web browser
  •  Direct network connections are recommended to minimize impact to the closing experience
    •  Hardware PlacementLarge screens should use privacy screens to protect customer’s personal information
    • Smaller devices can be used, however the size and shape of the screen may impact the readability of the documentation

Modern Browser

  • Most platforms are web based and will run on any computer with a modern browser. This includes popular tablets such as those running Apple’s iOS and Android operating systems.

Touch Screen Capability

  •  While you can use a mouse to sign digitally, the experience is less than optimal for signers.

Large Screen
