Culture of Caring
Our Culture of Caring
Protecting property ownership is only one way our employees make a difference in our communities. Here at Stewart, we care for the communities we live in and serve. From company culture, customer service, to community and sustainability initiatives, our Culture of Caring stretches across the globe.

Sustainability at Stewart means creating value through engagement and inclusion – and it starts with how we treat our employees. We are proud to have created a culture that truly gives us a competitive advantage.
Inclusion and Belonging
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that fosters a deep sense of pride, passion, respect and belonging. We know that having the ability to bring your authentic self to work creates a stronger, more creative, and collaborative environment that enables our team to deliver the best business results possible. Our journey to being the premier title services company is fueled by this commitment. It drives the way we serve our customers, communities, and each other. We are grounded in making sure all our employees and customers are seen, heard and celebrated. It is essential for us to win, together.
Everyone Seen, Everyone Heard, Everyone Celebrated
Through Stewart's Inclusion Council, our commitment to representing, supporting and serving marginalized communities and groups with clear action in our outreach and services processes is shown around the globe. We strive to provide everyone the opportunity to succeed while valuing the strength our different perspectives and experiences foster.
Strengthening Our Employee Value Proposition
Here are a few of our accomplishments in this area:
- We expanded our Stewart Wellness Program globally to all countries in which we operate.
- Launched a flexible Paid Time Off Program for U.S. employees, designed to support physical, social, and emotional well-being. The new program enhances our existing time-off offerings such as paid holidays, floating holidays, Childbirth and Bonding Paid Leave, Volunteer Time Off, and more.
- Partnered with an outside firm to complete a global engagement survey, which resulted in Stewart earning the recognition of 2024 Top Workplace in the U.S., as well as receiving special recognition in the areas of Employe Well-Being and Professional Development.
- Expanded our charitable giving through The Stewart Title Foundation, giving our employees an opportunity to support any cause that’s important to them, and we contribute annually to several human rights and social justice organizations nominated by our employees through the program.
Giving Back to Our Communities
The Stewart Title Foundation is a part of our larger effort to give back to the communities where we work and live. Through our employee-lead Community Service Awards program, Stewart Scholarship fund, donation commitments to enterprise partners and board of directors charitable matching gift program, our annual giving reached a major giving milestone in 2024, surpassing $1 million in donations to 902 organizations and 100 students.

Our Partnerships

Community Service Awards
Our Community Service Awards program recognizes the generous actions of our U.S. employees with a donation to organizations of their choice. Starting in 2021, the company provided awards from the Foundation to those charitable organizations, further supporting employees’ efforts in their local communities.
Stewart Scholarship Fund
Since 1994, Stewart has supported continuing education for high school seniors and undergraduate students by awarding yearly scholarships to students whose parents work for Stewart. In 2024, we increased our annual scholarship pool from $136,000 to $200,000 and raised the number of scholarships from 68 to 100.
