Leah Ligotti is an Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel with Stewart Title Guaranty Company’s Boston National Commercial Services (NCS) Division. She is a national underwriter and has underwritten transactions in over 40 states covering various types of commercial properties. Over the past few years, Leah has worked on numerous large-scale, ground up, construction deals, with a focus on mechanic’s lien risks. Leah joined Stewart in 2019 as Underwriting Counsel and was promoted to Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel in May of 2022 and currently heads the Boston NCS underwriting team. Prior to joining Stewart, Leah worked for 8 years within a law firm located in Boston where she reviewed title exams, cleared title issues, and represented buyers, sellers, lenders, and developers in both commercial and residential transactions.
