A Stewart Title Guaranty Company associate since 1994, Don has more than 40 years’ experience in the title insurance industry, having worked as branch counsel, state counsel, district manager, senior title counsel and regional claims counsel for Lawyers Title, Ticor Title and Chicago Title Insurance Companies. During that time, he created and edited a national underwriting manual for one of the major title underwriters while serving in their national underwriting department. Over the course of his career he has amassed a very high level of expertise in multifamily, office and shopping center title issues and transactions.
Don received both his B.S. and J.D. from the University of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and has presented Continuing Legal Education courses and lectures for both the Alabama State Bar and the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a past president of the Dixie Land Title Association.
