Stewart Title of Wisconsin has acquired Title One of Waupaca

HOUSTON (Feb. 28, 2007) – Stewart Title of Wisconsin Inc. has acquired Title One of Waupaca, with branches in Wautoma, New London and Shawano in east central Wisconsin. The offices will become part of Stewart Accurate Title, a division of Stewart Title of Wisconsin.

Title One founder and owner Mike Halpin will join Stewart Accurate Title as a vice president to focus on marketing and expansion.

"This acquisition will enhance Stewart Accurate Title’s servicing capability into many more counties, both by the new locations and also by the addition of an outstanding staff," said David Silberman, president, Stewart Title of Wisconsin. "Mike is a well-respected veteran of the title industry and his experience will be invaluable."
