PropertyInfo reaches transactional landmark with more than 7.8 million title searches processed in 2007

“As the real estate transaction continues to move into the digital age, the way title and escrow officers search for title information has changed to include online searches of public land records,” says Neal Morris, Internet services director of the title plant software/ePlant publishing division of PropertyInfo. “Given our growth of the number of title search inquiries to a record 7.8 million transactions in 2007 over previous years’ at 4 million in 2006, and 1 million in 2005, it is evident that electronic searches have become a standard business practice.”
