Senior Business Development Officer

With more than 18 years of marketing and business development experience, Morgan Gilligan serves as Senior Business Development Officer for Stewart Title Commercial Services. Gilligan specializes in developing commercial business on a national level as well as in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to joining Stewart Title, he served in marketing and business development roles for Craftsmen Developers, LLC, Commercial Settlement Services, Brinker Capital and Bank of America. He spent nine years with Commercial Settlement Services, a Stewart Title agent, and successfully increased the company’s market share by 30 percent in both commercial and builder transactions.

Gilligan’s overall leadership and performance has been recognized through a series of awards in 2011 including The Daily Record VIP successful by 40; Living Classrooms and Baltimore Business Journal’s 2010 Rising Star; and Urban Land Institute Leadership Award.

He is also active in his community currently serving as the NAIOP Awards Gala Co-Chair, Walters Art Gallery Development Committee, Maryland Art Place board member, Homebuilders Association of Maryland board member, and Baltimore School for The Arts Stage One board member. He is past member of the Baltimore City Mayor’s Leadership Advisory Group, along with leadership roles for ULI Baltimore and The Baltimore Station

Gilligan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business and a concentration in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
