Jeff D. Lanier
Head of Commercial Finance
Jeff leads commercial finance at Stewart, overseeing financial planning and analysis to support business growth and profitability. His responsibilities include Stewart’s Agency Financial Advisory Service and Economic Research and Reporting.
Before joining Stewart, Jeff led Deloitte’s Insurance and M&A practice and served as head of finance and administration for a national life and retirement retail distribution organization. He also held leadership roles at AIG, including chief financial officer and director of strategy and financial planning. Jeff holds a B.A. and B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Rice University.
Warren Samek
Senior Vice President/Regional Manager, National Capital Markets
Warren brings experience in technology, finance and commercial real estate to his role at Stewart Title National Commercial Services. Before joining Stewart Title, he spent 10 years at Fidelity National Title’s Major Accounts Division as NCS senior vice president over the Seattle and Bay Area markets. He currently serves as an advisory board co-chair of the Real Property Risk committee for OpenCRE AI.
Warren’s career includes executive leadership roles at Shearson Lehman, Wyse Labs, Apple, Applied Game Theory and Fidelity National Financial. He holds certifications from IBM as a data science professional and has completed executive education at MIT and Stanford in artificial intelligence and corporate innovation. Warren is a U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction, earning recognition for leadership and performance throughout his military career and subsequent work supporting U.S. government operations abroad.
