Commitment To Our Communities
At Stewart, we believe in making a meaningful impact beyond business. Our commitment to social responsibility is reflected in how we support our employees, partners, customers, vendors, and the communities where we live and work. Through active engagement, charitable giving, and employee-driven initiatives, we strive to create a better future for all. We focus our commitment in three key areas:
- Empowering employees to support local organizations and causes they care about through employee-nominated charity donations and paid time off to volunteer
- Partnering with charitable organizations through Stewart Title Foundation grants and hands-on support
- Responding to community needs with disaster relief and targeted gifts, including our board of directors charitable matching gift program and Stewart Scholarships

Stewart Title Foundation 2025 Annual Giving Overview
Over the past five years, Stewart’s charitable giving has more than doubled, growing from $513,750 in 2021 to $1.208M in 2025. This growth reflects not only increased financial investment, but a fundamental shift toward an employee-led, participation-driven model of impact.
What began as a traditional corporate giving program has evolved into a nationally scaled platform for employee voice, volunteerism, and community leadership—engaging employees and supporting organizations in all 50 states and embedding service into the fabric of how Stewart shows up for its communities.
Stewart’s giving increased every single year over the five-year period, with annual growth ranging from ~19% to ~26%. Importantly, this growth was not driven by a single outsized gift, but by the scaling of employee-powered programs, particularly Community Service Awards, scholarships, and volunteer engagement.

Strategic Enterprise Partnerships with Depth, Not Drift
While employee-driven programs scaled rapidly, Stewart also maintained and deepened long-term enterprise partnerships:
- Multi-year investments in organizations like Houston Food Bank, Rebuilding Together, Feeding America, ALTA Good Deeds, and MBA Opens Doors
- Expansion from localized impact to multi-city, disaster response, and national footprint initiatives
- Integration of hands-on volunteerism, resulting in over 1,700 cumulative volunteer hours with Rebuilding Together alone since partnership inception
This balance ensured growth did not come at the expense of focus or effectiveness.
Volunteerism as a Force Multiplier
Stewart’s Global Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program launched in 2024 and grew more than 30% year over year:
- 15,737 volunteer hours in 2024
- 20,780 volunteer hours in 2025
- 1,792 employees participating in 2025 alone
At Stewart, volunteerism is fully integrated into our impact model with over 36,000 VTO hours being taken in just two years.

Significant Enterprise Partnerships
Revitalizing Communities with Rebuilding Together
Since 2023, 337 Stewart volunteers have dedicated 1,725 hours to revitalizing communities across the U.S. through Rebuilding Together, making essential home repairs for those in need. This work has resulting in repairing 22 homes in 19 cities (14 states). We have also funded Hurricane Ian relief efforts in SW Florida, wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles, and flood relief efforts in the Texas Hill Country.
In 2025, 108 volunteers (573 hours) gave time to help repair 7 homes across 7 states.
Tackling Food Insecurity Across the U.S. with Feeding America

At the Houston Food Bank, Stewart’s donations provided over 73,000 meals to children in need.
Other notable charity partners
Through our donation to the MBA Opens Doors Foundation,15 families were provided with rental or mortgage assistance.
Our donation to ALTA® Good Deeds funded grants of $6,000 each to four charities.
Community Service Awards Program
Created in 2021, the Community Service Awards program allows any employee to nominate a local charity, foundation and/or other non-profit organization to receive a $500 donation from the Stewart Title Foundation in the name of the nominating employee.
The program has become the cornerstone of Stewart’s giving strategy, growing from:
- $243,000 in 2021 → $605,000 in 2025
- 472 unique organizations → 790 unique organizations supported
- 42 states → all 50 states + DC
In 2025, Community Service Awards alone represented 50% of total giving, underscoring Stewart’s commitment to decentralizing philanthropy and trusting employees to lead impact in their own communities. Twenty-five charities were randomly selected to receive $1,000 instead of the standard amount. In total, 1,185 awards were given to 790 unique organizations on behalf of employees.
